3rd European 22q11-deletion Syndrome Conference
Welcome
It is an honor for the Catalan Association of the 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome to host the third European Congress on the 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome. On November 16-17 2019, we will welcome to Barcelona well-known doctors and researchers on the syndrome who will be sharing their knowledge and expertise during two days with families and professionals from all over Europe.
We are sure it will be a successful exchange of information and experience as it was on the two previous editions in Brussels and Dublin.
Venue
The Congress will take place at the facilities of Disseny Hub Barcelona. This modern building is home to the Design Museum and counts with an auditorium with capacity for more than 300 people that will allow us to enjoy the plenary conferences with all the necessary technical requirements.
Transportation and Accomodation
Disseny Hub is located in the city center, in front of one of the entrances to the subway stop Glories, L1 (red line). Barcelona offers plenty of hotels; the closest to the venue area are these:
- SM Hotel Teatre Auditori
- Novotel Barcelona City
- NH Barcelona Diagonal Center
We recommend you to make reservations a good time in advance because of the high occupancy rate in Barcelona, there is a high number of congresses and business meetings taking place all around the year.
Program
You can find the preliminary program (in English and French) in the links below. The language of the congress will be English with simultaneous translation into Spanish and French. Other languages as required by country associations.

Registration
You need to register in order to attend the conference (please, see link hereunder). Registration includes access to all sessions, documentation and catering during breaks and dinners.
- Early bird registrations (before August 31 2019): 60€ per person.
- For registrations before September 15 2019: 75€ per person.
- For registrations after September 15 2019: 85€ per person.
On Saturday 16th, we will celebrate the meeting dinner, another opportunity to network and socialize with parents and professionals. Dinner will be at the Hypostyle Hall, within the Sant Pau Modernist Complex, and if you wish to attend, you will need to register when you register for the conference. The dinner has a cost of 40€ per attendee.
